HypnoBirthing® of Southern Oregon is affiliated with the HypnoBirthing® Institute

HypnoBirthing® The Mongan Method- is a unique method of relaxed, natural childbirth education, enhanced by self-hypnosis techniques.  HypnoBirthing® provides the missing link that supports women to use their natural instincts to bring about a safer, easier, more comfortable birthing.  Emphasis is placed on pregnancy and childbirth, as well as on pre-birth parenting and the consciousness of the pre-born baby. The class is presented in a series of 5 weekly, 3 hour classes.  The series is offered 6 times per year in centrally located Jacksonville Oregon.

Rhione Zeixchel and Jae Rowan are Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educators.  They were trained in HypnoBirthing® the Mongan method in 2001 by Marie Mongan.  Rhione and Jae have both worked as midwives and childbirth educators,  to help women in natural birth, for over 28 years now.  They have found HypnoBirthing® is THE MOST EFFECTIVE philosophy and technique for childbirth preparation that they have ever encountered.

  1. Hi Rhione,

I received your contact information on the Hypno-Birthing website this morning. My husband I are interested in the possibility of taking a class or two, but we are fairly close to birth, now being at 34 weeks tomorrow. We just arrived from out of the country (we live in Africa) and are temporarily staying with my parents in Yreka, California. We are hoping to set up care with a midwife this week and are considering birthing at the Ashland Birthing Center.

Would love to hear if you have any Hypno-Birthing info or resources you could pass our way.

    Many thanks,
    C2 (Cara)
